Remote Computer Support

There is often the need to access a clients computer and make changes.  Currently the best method we have found to do this is Crossloop.  It is a easy to install and use program that allows us to access your computer remotely and fix software and hardware problems remotely (meaning we do not have to come out to your place of business).  In all cases this will start with an email or phone call for support.  Often it is hard to understand what is happening without seeing it with our own eyes and this is where crossloop provides a safe secure method for us to see what is actually happening on your PC.

When the issue arises for remote support here is what you need to do.

  1. Go here http://www.crossloop.com/ipage.htm?id=download and download the latest version of Crossloop.
  2. Run the Crossloop .exe file (or .dmg file for mac).
  3. After install you will be prompted with a register window, if you do not feel like registering click the “Skip” in the lower right hand corner of this window.
  4. When the application starts you will see a window with green and gray tabs.  Click the gray “Share” tab and make note of the access code.
  5. Get one of us on the phone and give us the access code.

In some cases we will need to contact you again after a computer restart.  Please provide us with a number we can reach you at if we need you to reconnect crossloop after restart.
