How to I keep SPAM out of my Inbox?

NOTE: These instructions show you how to filter SPAM using your webmail client. Webmail is provided as a convenience for checking email at times when you are away from your usual computer–Innoshare does not recommend long-term use of Webmail as your primary email client.

Enabling spam filtering in Innoshare Webmail

After you login to webmail… Create a new Folder to store filtered SPAM

1. Click the “Folders” link at the top of the webmail access screen.

2. Enter the name SPAM in the “Create Folder” field

3. Click The “Create” button

Create a Message Filtering rule to move flagged messages to the SPAM folder

1. Click the “Options” link at the top of the screen.

2. On the Options page, click the “Message Filters” link

3. Click “[New]“ to create a new message rule

4. Select the value “Header” from drop-down list in the “Match:” field.

5. Enter X-Spam-Status: Yes in the “Contains:” field.

6. Select the newly created SPAM folder from the drop-down list in the “Move to:” field.

7. Click “Submit”

Each time you check email, emails which have been flagged as spam will automatically be moved to your SPAM folder!
